Evelien van der Peijl is a graduate BA Graphic Design/Spatial design at the art academy AKV St. Joost in Breda. Her focus of her works lies most of the time between political or environmental themes. Her goal lies in creating visual expressions by combining graphic design, illustration and printmaking to interact with viewers or make some complete nonsense.
Her style can be described as the fine-line between Illustration and Graphic design. With her experience in the printmaking field, she tries to influence her way of creative thinking with the way of how to print matter. The style can be described with many fancy  words but in the end it comes to only these 5 words: Colorful, mainly forms, playful, experimental and meaningfull.
